Summer Camp July19th-25th
Abi may be driving students up who are interested in doing a week of camp at SimonHouse!
Students grades 7&8 would be campers while students grades 9-12 can volunteer as work crew!

Campers (Grades 7&8):
Students grades 7&8 can participate as campers! This would entail a week long slumber party with their friends alongside new friends they meet at camp.
SimonHouse is a smaller camp and the maximum amount of campers in a week is around 60. Each cabin sleeps up to 8 campers with 2 staff in cabin with them. The days are filled with activities: being out on the lake, playing field games, eating delicious meals, & getting to be kids. One of the best parts about camp is how little campers are on their phones, while its not mandatory, it happens naturally. Since there is so much to do, students get to make real memories rather than watching things happen through a screen! Alongside this, they hear about Jesus through a daily bible study and a nightly lesson from a camp leader
Abi will be at camp, a familiar face to the students for whatever they might need but she will be serving on the workcrew for most her time. But rest assured along with Abi there will be 15-20 staff who are serving at Simonhouse with the goal of showing campers the love of Jesus and making sure they have a great week!
The cost of camp is 350(+gst) plus some small optional costs for things like snack
Abi will drive up students who are interested and the cost of travel will be covered.
There may be opportunity to fundraise for camp through things like bake sales to help cover the cost. If money is an issue, please reach out to discuss options with us

Grades 9-12 are welcome to join Abi in serving on work crew for the week. Camp takes many different volunteers to pull off an awesome week for the campers. Often students from La Salle have gone up to serve on Workcrew: doing dishes, cleaning bathrooms, and hanging out together in free time! This will be what Abi will do while the grades 7&8 are busy enjoying camp! She would love to have any high schoolers join her and in serving Simon house together.
